With such a small card tonight, one day fantasy players have to search out that “Diamond in the Ruff” that will separate them from the rest of the field. Heres our suggestion for the two late games, with our goal being players costing less then $5,500**:
1. Jazz Center Enes Kanter– With the nuggets allowing the fourth most points to opposing combined with Kanter putting up double digit fantasy points in 4 of the last 5 games, Kanter has great value tonight.
2. Nuggets Forward J.J. Hickson– Although Hickson does not start, with a fast paced game expected tonight, Hickson should see around 22 minutes. Though erratic at times, going against a Jazz team that allows 38.9 fantasy points per game provides a great spot for Hickson tonight.
3. Timberwolves PG Mo Williams– Since taking over for Ricky Rubio, Williams has seen a heavy increase in minutes played. He has also taken advantage of this opportunity by posting back to back games of 40+ fantasy points. Expect that to continue both tonight and moving forward until Rubio returns.
