Fantasy Advice

Sorry for tyne late writeup traffic in Philadelphia Center City is horrible at rush hour!!!! He goes out top NBA players $5,500 or less for tonights daily leagues:

Shawn Marion, Small Forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, has seen 25+ minutes in 5 of the last 7 games while starting. At $3,800, it is hard to find ANY players that starts and plays as many minutes. While being a role player on a team with so many scorers, Marion does not put up major points, however he does do a good job filling up other areas of the stat sheet. For that reason, mixed with Milwaukee’s inability to control opposing teams Small Forwards, we like Marion tonight.

Arron Afflalo, Shooting Guard for the Denver Nuggets, has seen 32+ minutes in 6 of his last 8 games. Similiarly to Marion, we like guys that play 25+ minutes a night because the more minutes equals more opportunities to produce. His production is a little more steady then Marion’s, scoring 22+ fantasy points 5 of those 8 games. Tonight, he plays a fast paced Portland Trailblazer team that allows 32.4 Fantasy Points per game to opposing Shooting Guards. Expect another 22+ Fantasy point night from Afflalo.

Terrence Ross, Small Forward for the Toronto Raptors looks to take advantage of increased playing time with DeMar DeRozan missing his second straight contest. Ross went for 38 minutes and 20 points last night verse the LA Lakers finishing with 26.5 fantasy points. Prior to last night, it has been 5 straight games that Ross played fewer 25 minutes and did not eclipse 22 fantasy points in any of those games. Expect this production to continue until DeRozan rejoins the team.
